Help Wanted: Cut hole in butcher block counter for under mount sink
I am desperately trying to find someone who is willing to cut a hole in a butcher block countertop for an under mount sink and we are running into dead ends everywhere. It is not attached and we will gladly take it wherever we need to get this done. Do you know of anyone that can help?
Thank you,
Joelle Keller
Hi JoelleWe probably can help. How thick is the butcher block? Will you be able to bring both item? What kind of finish on the cut end are you thinking? Rough saw cut, sanded smooth, finished with epoxy? All of the above… maybe this is why no one is responding… lolAnyway, let see what you reply with.Gene
Hello!
The butcher block is maybe 2-2.5 inches thick. We can bring both in for sure. I’m not sure on the finish. We had planned to just sand it down ourselves after the cut, but if we could do the other options that would be amazing. Any help we could get at this point we’d be glad to take! I think it’s probably a simple task for someone who has the right tools. It’s a small sink and a standard shape.
Let me know when would be good for you!
Thank you so much!!!
Joelle
