Our membership is comprised of many wonderful people, who not only share a common interest in woodworking, but often are extraordinary contributors to society through mentorship, volunteerism, leadership, and service to others in many descriptions.

The Recognition Committee chaired by Diane Frankenfield, replacing Jack W. Spencer, was proposed by Greg Knoll in the fall of 2020 and authorized by the Board of Directors in the winter of 2021. The first awards were made in December 2021 during the monthly meeting.

President’s Recognition Award: pending final draft.
Broken Chisel (yearly)
Broken Chisel Award: a member who has dedicated time and energy to the Guild workshop such as maintaining equipment, orchestrating minders, and ensuring safety while providing a space where members can work and thrive.
Hero (yearly)
Hero Award: for a member whose selfless actions have provided outstanding service to the community bringing honor to themselves and the Guild.
Member (yearly)
Member of the Year: a member of the Guild for more than 3 years who has demonstrated outstanding service, dedication, and contributions to the Guild.
New Member (yearly)
New Member of the Year: a member of the Guild for 3 years or less who has demonstrated outstanding service, attendance, and participation in Guild activities.
