I have served as the HCWG Vice President for about a year now and have both led and participated in a wide variety of areas to improve the Guild’s business practices and resolve many of the problems that the Board faces each month. In doing so, I have brought my former professional background in business management and engineering to the table. In the last year, I created and led our Marketing Committee which resulted in a new mission statement and branding identity. I also recently extended that experience to creating a new Website Redevelopment team, participated in improving our budget and financial management practices, helped the Education Committee plan a new curriculum, and provided critical input for many issues that pop up each month. I have enjoyed my involvement and would like to continue this work and participate as a member of the Guild leadership team as your Guild Vice President.
