Continue reading →I am trying to use my new Porter Cable dovetail jig (4216 with the 3 templates) for a sliding dovetail joint. I can’t seem to get the tenon to the right thickness. The adjustments are not really fine since they require loosening and tightening a large knob and a backing nut on each side. Any suggestion on how to best do it? Is there a good way to measure it while adjusting to know when it is right?
